      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm new to AutoCAD ... I have drawings I need to import from Illustrator cc to be able to extrude the drawings into 3d.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I exported it as a dwg file and was able to import it, but am not able to extrude anything.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Penna&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;AutoCAD can't extrude splines. &amp;nbsp;You need to convert them to polylines first. &amp;nbsp;Use SPLINEDIT.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For me, the original splines would not extrude. &amp;nbsp;I just converted each of them separately to plines and extruded them. &amp;nbsp;Splinedit can only work with one spline at a time. &amp;nbsp;Extruded can work with all of the converted splines at the same time. &amp;nbsp;After extruding them, use the subtract command to remove the inside parts (assuming you are doing eyeglasses).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
