dimension leaders buried behind hatch

Good morning all.

I'm having a problem that I'd really like to deal with.

All of my leaders/dimension lines are being buried/hidden beneath my hatches.

I've done the "hatchtoback" and "texttofront>dimensions/leaders/all/text", to no avail.

Does anyone know how to rectify this, so that the leader lines/dimention lines will be on top of the hatches?

This is most likely related to draworder. Sometimes this is finicky. If moving the annotation forward doesn't help, sometimes you need to move the occluding objects to the back of the draworder. If that doesn't work, try moving the occluding objects under the leaders.

Thank you for your response.

I have tried all three of the items related to this.

-draworder

-hatchtoback

-texttofront.

None of them are allowing the leaders/dimlines/arrows to come to the front. Which was why I'd included the screenshot.

As I'm in paperspace with my dimensions/leaders, and the drawn objects are in model space (being accessed through a viewport), is that the reason why?

It could be a cross space issue. Post a small sample of the drawing that exibits the problem. If you want paperspace to be plotted first, you may need to change the plot settings. Uncheck plot paperspace last and preview to see if the plot will look different.

ok.

Now this is goofy.

In a fresh drawing, independent of any template settings--- in which we draw all our drawings, it looks like I want it to.

No. actually that was 4 years ago, and I'm no longer drafting in AutoCAD.

I'd say reference to this op and post a new thread.
