I'm not sure how you are scaling your paper up to get the architectural scales.

Typically I would scale up by multiplying the number by 12 to convert it from feet to inches.

So for 1/8 or 1"=8'-0", I would scale the sheet up by 8x12= 96"

The same is then true with the engineering scales.

So for 1/20 or 1"=20'-0", I would scale the sheet up by 20x12= 240"

Area Object Link | Attribute Modifier | Dwg Setup | Feet-Inch Calculator
Layer Apps | List on Steroids | VP Zoom Scales | Exchange App Store

Post the drawing and I'll look at how you are setting this up. I hope to recommend Paper Space scaling fixes but never can tell how users are working??

If your drawing is set to Architectural units (enter UNITS on command line to find out), then to get engineering scales you'll need to use:

1/120 for 1:10
1/240 for 1:20
1/360 for 1:30
1/480 for 1:40
1/600 for 1:50
and so on...

The conversion from architectural to engineering is a factor of 12" to 1' so you have to multiply the denominator by 12.
