Orientation of A1 plot to HP designjet 800

Hi. Sending A1 plots to HP designjet 800 plotter and the orientation always comes out portrait no matter what way I change settings. A lot of waste paper from trimming. Can anyone help? Alos, I have no option ot plot A0 size. Seems to have dissappeared!

dou You plot directly from dwg or at first to pdf? Do You print from model or from layot?

I print directly from AutoCad paper space.

This maybe the issue. Try to set up Your page by typing PAGESETUP at layout, then click modify and configure everything. I'm reccomending plot to pdf and plotting from pdf to hp 800.

Dose your HP driver have an auto-rotate feature? We don't have the 500-800s here but all of our other HP plotters have that setting.
