The screen is gray when I open a DWG file

Hello, i have a problem with Autocad 2015. Sometimes when i open a file, it open in gray color and the lines and the objects are well defined, even the dotted lines are well defined. This is irrtating because of the color of the screen, (I configured my Autocad in color black). And when I save the file, it turn black(the screen), but the lines and the objects are wrong, the dotted lines becomes in a continuos line, and the circles are not round. Then when I apply the command RE the screen becomes gray again, and the lines, the dotted lines, objects are well defined again.

Do all of your drawings behave in this manner, or is only a few select DWG files?
Has your AutoCAD always been this way, or did it just start happening recently?
Did you develop these drawings in-house, or were they sent to you from an outside firm?

If you have some which exhibit the behavior, please feel free to attach a sample file to this forum thread, and I'll be happy to check it out for you here.

Looks like Windows7 with the Aero Theme turned on: might be a good time to kill that off , it's less taxing on your system overall.

Is this the only file that does this? is this a recent problem? What is your video card? Is something new with your PC?

Are you still having troubles with the DWGs sometimes appearing on a grey screen? Looking again at the screen captures, it appears that the difference is whether or not the drawing content is on the defined paper for output, or if it is off the edge of the paper. Also, are there different visual styles employed?

yes, we are a company, other companies send their dwg drawings, and just with some dwg it happenned. I add a dwg file with this problem.

It is not a recent problem, other companies send their dwg files to us and its just for some dwg files not with all of them. All of our computers has a great video card even some of them has w7 Home basic (Aero theme is not actived)

Start PAGESETUP i(or PLOT command) n that layout: assign a plotter to that layout and the correct page seize and the 'gray screen' problem goes away.

You have no paper assigned in paperspace.
