Good morning everyone,

So, I recently had my work computer updated and now my drawings won't print correctly. In the page setup preview, what shows on the screen appears to be correct. But when I start the plot command and check the preview there, the paper is turned 90 degrees and plots incorecctly. I'm stumped, please help. Thanks in advance.

Nick

Not enough information: what are you plotting to?
Which driver are you using, a PC3 file or a Windows driver?
What are your PLOT parameters? Post a screenshot of your entire PLOT pop-up from AutoCAD.

If you don't know the answers to any of those, ask around in your office please.

Below is an example my plot screen (we use mainly 2 pc3's a 24x26 & 30x42). I'm attempting to plot to a cannon plotter on a 30x42 sheet. In the "plotters and devices" settings, they are labeled correctly and my new computer connects to them fine. for some reason when I click on "preview" the paper is in a different orientation than what shows in the small black box (the preview shows the paper in portrait) but the page setup preview shows it correctly.

Your screenshot is too low res, but... since you seem to be using a dedicated PC3 file, that's probably where your orientation is defined if there is no landscape vs portrait option in the PAGE SIZE (for example, a 24x36 will plot differently than a 36x24).

Thanks: still doesn't change my last post on where to dig for a fix.

Try plotting to the system driver instead of your PC3 file if there is one.

Same as pendean has said, for the paper size configuration. how about you change it to 42"x32"?
