This sample logo appears when you open an autocad. This shows at the screen after loading the startup screen but when you press escape, run a command, or click anywhere on the modelspace it disappears. Is it added in the template file? It is not really a big matter just something i want to add on the autocad that i use to look cool. I had been searching for an answer about this for weeks not but i end up on the topic of .bmp file during startup or image inserted for titleblock.

The logo by the way is from ICAL, its a plugin that was installed on the autocad on my previous company, i hope no copyright is being violated, this is just for academic puroposes.

Thanks in advance to those who might share thier knowledge on this topic.

This image is not for titleblock. It wont be saved beacause like the start up window once you press escape or click anywhere in the modelspace it would disappear. It is really more of aesthetic, it really doesnt do anything, its a logo.

Hi,

I guess you have installed an application/tool on top of AutoCAD.

Whoever has installed that tool should know how to remove it. There are so many options how you it's loaded (try Windows control panel ==> programs and features, or look for loaded partial menus or content of ACAD.LSP, ACADDOC.LSP, ...)

Sir, that is exactly what happened, there was an application installed on top of autocad. It was project specific tools and the logo was added to identify that the application was running. The image isnt nuisance in anyways because it disappears, it doest become a water mark. My question is do you have any idea what code he used to insert the image because that is what i'am intending to do.

Can be done with every API (LISP, VBA, .NET, ARX). Which API do you know and prefer?

Hi,

I don't know LISP, but would start to search for function grdraw (>>>click<<<) and similar functions.

If you don't find enough in the www to get it working for you please find the forum for AutoCAD customization for LISP >>>there<<<.

Good luck, - alfred -
