Creating another custom block

OK - thanks to help from here I was able to get the previous block using visibility states created.

Now I am working on another block. It is a variation of the "Tag - Imperial" that comes with Autocad. The only difference is that instead of one piece of text in the circle I want two pieces separated by a horizontal line (like what you see inside the circle of the standard "Callout Bubble - Imperial" I have the lines laid out, and the text set up. I have a polar stretch applied and the line rotates around the center of the circle as it should. But I have two problems. The grip on the end does not travel and stay with the line and the grip at the center of the cricle does not stay with the center of the circle either. So if you move either of these grips, it falls apart. How do I create anvhor points for these grips in the Block Editor?

Current version attached as "Tag Test.dwg".

Think I've gotten the grip at the center of the circle fixed. Created a basepoint there and now that is where I can move the block from as the main grip. Which is what I want. But the grip at the end of the line away from the circle doesn't travel with the block, so it still throws things off.

i dinked with one. I think i got it where you need it. I had to link some of the actions and turn off a couple grips.

edit: for some reason when i upload it the basepoint is getting moved. Just pop that into place and it might work for you. I think it has soemthign to do with saving it as an incomplete block.

Thanks - but when I open the dwg file it forces me to go directly into the block editor and when I close the block editor the dwg files closes completely - so I can't really see what's going on with the block in the drawing. I tried copying the block to another drawing using DC, but it shows there are no blocks in the dwg file you attached.

you can insert the the block using the INSERT command and browsing to where the file is stored.

that said there is an issue with it any way. ill see if i can find some time some where in the near future to tinker with it.

Excellent! That did it. What did you do to anchor the grip at the end of the line away from the circle? That's the part I couldn't get.

I had to tinker quite a bit. it wasn't working as i wanted it. I linked a move point so that it could move the insertion point and the polar stretch grip. I also hid one of the polar stretch grips. I added a move point for the circle. That's the gist of what i did... but it was giving me heck lol.
