menuload command works but menu goes away after closing

Greetings....

i've been using menuload for a small, partial menu that i have had for years. For some reason, i can't get it to stay in the menu bar. It goes away, and the menu is unloaded after closing autocad. Any idea what might be happening here? Thanks for any info.

Is the menu file still *loaded* after the restart, but just not visible?
If you are talking about a pull-down menu, do you have more than 24 of them visible?
Have you tried saving the workspace?

The old MENULOAD style system changed with the Main/Enterprise CUIx system. In theory, you are attempting to load the CUIx file partial to the Main (you cannot do that to the Enterprise). Once the CUIx is partially loaded you have access to the UI elements it provides. You would add those elements to one or more workspaces; depending on settings it may be automatically added to the active workspace when the CUIx file is loaded. If the workspace is not saved (manually or automatically) then the next time you start it won't show those elements, even if the CUIx file is loaded (which it should be) - they aren't in the active workspace.

thanks for the comments. I have loaded the partial menu, saved the workspace, exited and then re-started autocad. It still is unloaded. After I reload it again, I went to CUI and here is what the menu says. Not sure what unreslolved means. The commands in the menu DO work when it is loaded. See the attached graphic.

"Unresesolved" means it cannot find the file, which uses the standard search pattern. Add the containing folder to your support file search paths.

Might want to consider adding it partial to the Enterprise CUIx as well, so you don't need to manually reload it. Just because the CUIx file is loaded doesn't necessarily mean the UI elements it provides are shown; thats determined by your workspace.

it is still not show up in the menubar. Added the path, exited, re-entered autocad and it is gone. Anything else I can try?
