issue opening dwg files...no pop up window

Forum Members,

Up until yesterday, to open a dwg file, i would simply click on Autocad icon in upper left corner, use pull down to select 'open file' and a pop up window would open, allowing me to open file.

Something changed and now when i pull down and click 'open file'....it activates the command line and asks me to manually type in file location.....this is not gonna work.

I am not very computer literate, and this question may have been addressed before, but any help or direction to help is appreciated.

Help.

additionally, when i want to save or save as....i am presented with same issue....

Check the setting for 'use dialog window for standard file dialog'

FILEDIA [F1]
