Hi @Anonymous,

There are a couple options here.

The first would be to subst a drive letter for your local path. This can be done by following the instructions here.

The other option, the one I would use myself, is here:

Back up your Registry.

Select Start> Run> and then type Regedit.

Navigate to the following folder:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows| CurrentVersion\ Explorer\User Shell

In the right panel, search for entries that list the incorrect drive.

Modify the incorrect drive to point to C:\.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

Hello @Anonymous

This doesn't sound fun. The #1327 typically refers to a missing drive! Did you run the install as an Administrator on the workstation? I would try the 2nd and third steps below to see if it eliminates the error messages upon installation. Make sure that you run the install from a stable and accessible drive.

Clean Installation - If you're using Windows XP or Vista, try installing the software while in safe mode by completing a Clean installation on Windows XP or Vista.

Remove and Reinstall Product - If the installer is reporting that the program is already installed, the installation will not complete. It's recommended that you clean your system by Removing all Products and reinstalling.

Re-register Microsoft Windows Installer - Some installation problems can be resolved by Re-registering or re-installing the Microsoft Windows Installer.

Troubleshoot Using the Log File - Most installations create a log file automatically in the %TEMP% folder on the client workstation. Learn about Using log to troubleshoot installation errors.
