hello, i'm in autocad 2016 and occasionally need to go into 3d walk or 3d fly modes which is great. When finished i press right mouse and click exit, but then as soon as i press th middle mouse button to start panning around as one would normally 3d fly or walk starts again and starts moaning i need to be in perspective mode... i don't want to walk or fly anymore jusy got back to normal - what's the command its doing my head in..?

I don't have right click performs last action or anything like that on, just pure context menu, and anyway it's the middle button i'm trying to pan with that triggers the warning about perspectve modes again, like it hasn't exited the mode properly after picking exit from the context menu 😞

I'm sure its pretty dumb answer but i've googled it and searched the forums but the phrase turn off whatever isn't very search engine friendly

Thanks!

Hi squeakstar

It sounds like you might need to reset your mouse variable MBUTTONPAN to equal 1. ALso check your Windows mouse settings to see if something got changed from defaults.

Please post your results.

Hi thanks for your response and apologies for late reply, been out of the office for a couple of days.

You may well have offered the corrrect solution generally but i've since found out it was a 3rd party plugin that was putting autocad into that mode and overriding the Exit command from the context menu.

thanks you anyway 🙂
