Hi I have a 3D 22 MB file of a floor. The floor has creases in it that span over a region. I have created the file already and it mimicks the floor plan stone work drawing (in the nave). When I open the file recently however, half the portion of the floor that i have made doesnt show up. I am wondering if there is a way to see what I have is damaged or not or if something else is the reason behind it not showing up.

When I open the file the line work is all there, but the second i orbit, half of it disappears

I am not sure where to upload the file so that someone may view it but here are some images and if someone can contact me I can send you the 22 MB file

Hi Evan.M.Gallitelli,

I assume that you have already purged and audited your file. When you pan or zoom, do you have your Visual Style set to something different than 2d Wireframe? If so, revert to that style and see if the problem persists.

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.

I just sent you a link to upload your large file. Please also tell me about your OS, hardware spec and software spec and anything else that might benefit the troubleshooting process.

Hi Evan.M.Gallitelli,

When I open your file it looks like the bottom picture (only half present). I tried running an Audit and Purge without any errors. I am missing the .JPG and perhaps that has something to do with it.

Do you have an older version of the file that was working previously?

Hi,

>> I am not sure where to upload the file

You can directly upload the drawing with every answer here in the forum.

What I see is in the first screenshot a magenta rendered face and in case that this face is in the same plane as your stone work then this is a display issue, nothing of your drawing. Delete this face/object ... are your stones back then?

Also worth to be tried (in every case when display shows unexpected results) is to disable hardware acceleration (command _GRAPHICSCONFIG).

I did try deleting the face as per @Alfred.NESWADBA's suggestion but without any positive results. Please add a post with your results so other Forum users can benefit.

Please hit the Accept as Solution button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question.
