DATALINK UPLOAD working with just half of data - weird!

Hey,

Some serius weird behavior here:

I've a table with a lot of measurements inside, each one in one cell.

These measurements that "auto-update itself" the cell were made using INSERT -> FIELD / OBJECT - MEASUREMENT.

Ok. That one works like a charm. Everytime that i move my object, i can use "UPDATE FIELDS" to update my table.

The problem starts when I have to upload all the "changed" cells to Excel.

When I click "Upload to Source", it fails:

1 object(s) found.
1 data link(s) could not be written out.
0 data link(s) written out successfully.

PS: Excel file is closed.

The workaround is: delete one line of the table inside AUTOCAD, then recreate the FIELD that i just deleted.

That way, when I upload, it works.

1 data link(s) written out successfully.

The problem is that AUTOCAD only update the cell that I just recreated, all other fields are unchanged.

Just the first cell is updated. All others are "old" values. Anyone has any clue of why AUTOCAD is just "uploading" some data and not all of it??

Hi @fernando.rossiVEEEP

Does your Table have a green L-shaped brackets at all four corners? The brackets indicates your table is linked to an external file, e.g. Excel.

You can upload and download with a properly connected Datalink, i.e. from Table to Excel and vice versa.

I don't see any green brackets. Looks like you have established proper Fields, but you haven't established a proper DataLink.

They do have the datalink.

The weird thing is it only update once. What I mean is:

I add a FIELD into a CELL. The FIELD is set to be - object / measurement - type.

The cell then is "filled" with the measurement. If I export the data, everything goes well.

When I move the object, the table refresh with new measurement values, all automaticaly by the FIELD input. Then, if I export AGAIN, the new data wont be refreshed in excel.

I don’t understand how you set up your Table. Did you overwrite some of the linked cells with Fields?

Does your Table have FIELDS?

Can you upload the drawing and the linked data?

I've managed a workaround: tableexport to CSV and in Excel a PowerQuery. That's not the most elegant method, but worked.
