Dear AutoDesk Support,

if we try to plot, we get always tis error message.

But the printer (path) changed always. This network printers has been never connected by the workstation. If you press <OK>, the image will be plot on the standard system printer or on the selected plotter by good quality.

What should I do, that this message disappears? PC3 file are re-created.

thanks in advance

Ralf Leonhardt

Hi,

when you start the plot dialog, AutoCAD shows you the plotter/printer previously assigned to the current layout (or modelspace).

Change the plotter/printer to a device which exists on your system (using command _PLOT or command _PAGESETUP), then click onto "Apply to Layout" (or OK) and save the drawing. You have to do that for each layout having a unknown device assigned.

In case that happens also with new drawings then you are working with templates which have that devices pre-configured, in that case open the template, change the devices for each layout and save this again as your template for future "new" drawings.

- alfred -

PS: es gibt auch ein deutschsprachiges Forum >>>hier<<<
