&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"previous plot setup" is nothing that is stored in AutoCAD.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What you can do is to assign the settings to the layout clicking onto "Apply to Layout" in the screenshot you showed, then the current settings are saved and are used for future plot's of that layout.&lt;/P&gt;
