Hi, I wonder if there is some find of a way to speed up the program when exiting in-place block editing... it can take a real long time in some drawings, especially if there are x-refs roaming around...

Thanks!

something that I have found speeds things up is before you enter into refedit or the block editor, zoom out. If you are zoomed into tight detail when you enter into the editor, it is going to regenerate the entire drawing to the detail level that you are zoomed into. In many cases, it is as simple as just zooming out before editing. Hope this helps!

Hi hanna613,

I haven't experienced this slow down when exiting a block edit.

Are the blocks in question dynamic ones? Do they have hatch patterns?

Can you describe your workstation configuration and AutoCAD version?

I look forward to working through this issue with you.
