Updates have a way of messing with the status quo. Is this a fresh install of AutoCAD, or is the the same install that was on the previous version of your OS?

You may have to reinstall AutoCAD.

Hi,

I updated to Windows 10 last night. I can load autocad and work in open files once i get them open. The issue is that auto-cad crashes when i try to open a file through the autocad open file menu (see screen shot). The program locks up and i need to reboot. I can launch a file through windows explorer without a problem. The issue appears to be on the auotcad end. What is going on and how can i fix it as this is now unworkable

Thanks

Found the solution. It was on the NVIDIA driver side. Update the video drive and everything is now fine
