I am using AutoCAD 2016 my coworkers are using AutoCAD 2013. When I plot and have hatch patterns on the plans they come out faded looking. When they open my drawing and plot it from their AutoCAD it comes out darker. How do I make my plot darker??? We've compared settings and can't find any differences. I am using AR-Sand and the scale is set to "2" Help!

Are you using the same plot styles (.stb or .ctb file)? Which particular settings did you compare?

So, assuming you're not assigning a Plot Style Table (.ctb or .stb), are there lineweights assigned to your Layers that may be different?

Another possibility could be different print drivers. Do you also have 2013 on your machine that you can compare?

Yes, we have our line types set up in the layers. I do not have 2013 in my computer anywhere. This is a new one and had 2016 only installed. They can print from their machines and it works fine. Maybe it is the print drivers??? How do you suggest that I go about finding out?

It should be listed in the Printer properties in the Control Panel. Another question...are you running different versions of Windows or other OS?

Friend, are all of your line drawings and hatched color #7? If not, how do you all get your color printers to print black? That's what we need to understand so we can help you. At the moment, based on your first screenshot, you do nothing at all as part of the PLOT process.

If you don't know, ask your 2013 colleague: if they do not know, open the HP driver and see if it is set to print all black all the time (your second screenshot is, well, not helpful for any details we can use). If you still cannot figure it out, ask the person that created your setup and the other setup or your I.T. person.

No, they are not all # 7 I will attach my layers and a screenshot of my plan.

It's just weird that everyone else has no problem plotting even when they plot what I have done.

Thanks

So, almost all of us AutoCAD users assign a plot style table, in PLOT command, to print items on screen lighter/darker/color/black/gray.

You say that you and others in your office do not use a plot style table and somehow it auto-magically works for them but not for you. So unless you can find out more about the driver or AutoCAD settings the others in your office use that you are not, no one way over here outside of your office can really help you.

Does your office not have an I.T. or Cad Manager that set up all the PCs that can help you?

Why do you have legacy wireframe selected? Change that.
