Changing Tolerance of Dynamic Input

How does one properly display a basic dimension such as 2.094 but in 3 places or 3 times? As you can see the 1.047 has been created by a series of lines around the dimension.

Does the "Draw frame around text" option in the Dimension Style editor do what you want?

Or is that already what is making the box around the 2.094 Dimension text? If the "3X" part in the 1.047 Dimension is a prefix added by way of Text override, that will also be included inside such a frame -- I'm not aware of any way to box in part of a Dimension's text content. You may need to use the text frame and add the 3X as a separate Text object -- is it acceptable for it to be, for example, over the measured distance, rather than between the arrow and the measurement?

when I add any other text to the 2.094 dimension this is what it looks like. The 1.047 as you notice has been fudged to look like a basic after entering the dimension. I tried the DIMTIX command but did not get a dialog box as shown in your post.

Yes, that's the way the frame-around-text option works -- it includes everything. As I said, I don't think you can have it only frame part of it.

That was @imadHabash 's suggestion about DIMTIX [on the other thread -- the perils of the same question appearing twice...]. The image they posted is part of the Dimension Style dialog box [type D, and pick Modify for the appropriate Style]. If you type in DIMTXT like a command name, it will just ask for a value at the Command line, but that's the System Variable that will be affected by the setting in the Dimension Style editor. But that's only going to force the text part, including any override content and/or frame, to be between the extension lines -- it's not going to do what you're after. I don't know of any way that can be done except your "fudge" approach.
