System Error Message at startup

Hi there,

After installing Autocad 2015 on my computer i got this system error message:

"AccelerometerSt.exe - System Error

The program can't start because mfc120u.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

It was a difficult install (tried three times) and we are still getting this message. help! thx in advance

So, i'll guess this is an HP machine?

Hi spetrounov and welcome to the Autodesk Community!

As JGerth indicated, this is a problem specific to HP and their DriveGuard software. If you uninstall it and download the newer version, you should be able to operate with out seeing the error message.

After an auto update performed on my HP laptop I got this system error message:

"AccelerometerSt.exe - System Error

The program can't start because vcruntime140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Don't know which program to reinstall.

Followed the recommendation to remove/reinstall 3D DriveGuard but it did not work. Still gettting the error message and AutoCAD Architecture 2013 still crashes when I click on a dashboard button.

Please help.

Please look to that article >>>click<<< and follow the workflow to get the VC++ redist's newly installed.
