      <title>AutoCAD Application has stopped working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been using AutoCAD 2016 Suite products and all of a sudden the "AutoCAD Application has topped working" message appears. &amp;nbsp;I uninstalled the entire suite and uninstalled the Microsoft Visual C++... and reloaded them. &amp;nbsp;The same AutoCAD message appears. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;start AutoCAD with a right-click on the desktop icon and use option "start as administrator"&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;start AutoCAD within a new Windows user account&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;start AutoCAD after disabling antivirus software&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;start AutoCAD while network (and especially Internet) is disabled/disconnected.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What version of Windows are you using and which video cards do you have installed?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If Windows 7 (and I suspect later versions as well) go to Device Manager in Windows Control Panel, open Display Adapters, rt-click on your installed video card. You should see options to Update and Roll back. It will also tell you which driver you have installed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am assuming that everything has been working properly until just recently.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you are not worried about network connectivity (for testing of course) I suggest that you go to Windows Control Panel&amp;gt;User Accounts and add a new user to the workstation with Administrative privileges. You can then log off and re-logon but using the new account.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If everything works in this configuration, we can remove your previous profile (save all documents first) and then create it again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Checked the properties, compatibility tab and the "run this program in compatibility mode.." was not checked. Checked the box, restarted my computer and we're finally back in business again.
