Text missing after FIND command

Please help if you have similar experience and share how you would solve the issues.

1. I used the command wblock to extract what I need and open the drawing.

2. Work on some texts.

3. Use FIND command looking for what I need and click the text.

4. Everything went back to where it was as the original point (same as the one I wblock). Means all the work I've done on no 2 disappear.

Can anyone help? Thank you so much.

Welcome to the Autodesk Community.

What version of AutoCAD are you using? Can you recover by performing an undo or reverting to a backup file (BAK)?

Can you duplicate this problem in other drawings?

Hi, John,

The version I am using is Autocad 2015. Yes, I can undo to go back to where I was.

We tested it and it's the same on other computer but it works if I duplicated to a new file. I think it is an individual file problem.

Yeah, thanks, I saw that and I can read. I've not had this happen before the way you describe it. I said "exactly" because I think it might be a procedural thing.

Did you by chance "UNDO" in between 3 and 4? Look at the commandline as you repeat your own steps. press F2 to expand it to make sure.
I too cannot repeat your problem in your file with your steps.

I was just playing with a drawing and the FIND command. I found my desired text, but then clicked Replace All with nothing in the Replace With field, and it went away. Could this be the cause?

2. Work on some text.
3. Use find command and type in what I am looking for.
4. Tick the list result and press the button 'zoom to highlighted results on the right hand side of the window.
5. Text disappear.

Thanks for trying to test the issue. If that did not happen on your computer mean it might be my mistake but my colleague use the same file with the same process and have the some issue.
