Rectangles

I am trying to draw a rectangle using the Rectangle icon (in Drawing) but it does not bring up the moving rectangle shape when I click on the first point - only a cross and then asks me to specify the end point.

Any suggestions ? I used to be able to drag out the rectangle around, and then add the dimensions or just click to drop it..

Type in: DRAGMODE then use A for Auto

you can use a coordinates setting like rec <enter>, 0,0 <enter>, 17,11 <enter>. then just stretch the line to what ever distance you like.

try if it works for you.
