Hello, my AutoCAd 2011 is not responding when I try to open the programme - the IT team has spent 2 days on it now, re-installed the software- but no luck.

I am on Windows 7 and haven't changed/updated anything at all on the system - one day CAD was working fine, and next day - it won't even lead...Any suggestions will be most welcome! Many thanks!

Thank you! I have checked & I don't have Dropbox installed. I could try to install the Updates 1.1 & 2...?

Hi,

>> I am on Windows 7 and haven't changed/updated anything at all on the system - one day

>> CAD was working fine, and next day - it won't even lead

If nothing was changed then AutoCAD's state also would not have changed (and it would work).

What you can try:

create a new Windows user on your system, give that user admin permissions, login with that account, turn off antivirus and see if AutoCAD works then

if not, then again with that new account: disconnect AutoCAD from network, so it can not find a local network, network printers, and internet ... try it again

set the switch to disable hardware acceleration (>>>details<<<) and start AutoCAD now without hw-acceleration

Let's know about the results of the above suggestions.

Good luck, - alfred -
