Sadly, you as an end user never get to tell AutoCAD to use all of your PC resources, that's out of your control @Chubb-1

If you wish to be more specific and elaborate, plus share your actual DWG file here, there are probably more attainable fixes you can implement today instead.

What hardware should be upgraded in order to run smoothly for a drawing of 970,000mm x 790,000mm?

I am using i7-11700 CPU, 32GB RAM, M2 SSD, and RTX 2060 for my computer. But it still runs slowly when I am working on just 1 drawing of the above dimension.

The CPU is running at 3-4% and ram is running at 17%, harddisk at 2% and the GPU at 1%. It seems that the computer is not running at its full capacity.

I know that block and layer have great influence when i review and amend the drawing. But i can not delete or amend them as they are set up by other parties. So how can i upgrade my computer? Have a ram with lower CL valve? Or any other suggestion?

Sorry, I cannot provide the DWG document as it is the property of the company. But anyway, thank you for your reply.
