Export 3D model to open in Blender FBX

I am currently trying to export a AutoCAD 3d solids model (2016) in a format that can be imported by into Blender. AutoCAD nolonger seems to allow 3DSOUT. I have tried FBXOUT with creates a file but not the correct version for Blender 'version 7000 unsupported, must be 7100 or later'.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Have you tried exporting as STL? Blender should be able to read that format as well.

I suggest that you try the Blender forums too so you can get suggestions from Blender users also.
