That worked perfectly! unfortunately that doesn't help with the straight line portion. Is there an easy way to find where that line intercepts?

Hi there

I'm in my first year of mechanical engineering and I've been struggling with an assignment that was given to me. The objective is to recreate a part but I'm having an issue finding out how to get the perimeter arcs in place accurately. I've attached the diagram below.

The arc I can't find is the R44 on the top left and I can't find where the straight portion on the bottom left intercepts the R22 and R35. The two R16s I was able to get with a R16 fillet but that's not really an option for the other two.

Any ideas would be great

Thanks!

Hi,

welcome @Anonymous.autodesk.com!

Look to the _CIRCLE option TTR (which stands for tangential-tangential-radius), after that use command _TRIM to remove the part of the circle which is not needed.

Good luck, - alfred -
