I want the text of my mutileader to always be aligned on the left side. I place a ML with the leader pointing to the right. I then copy the text down with ortho on so the left edges of the text is aligned. When I edit the new ML the landing stays in the exact same place but the text moves to the left. How do I set the base point of the ML so the landing moves to the right and the left edge of the text remains in the same location.

if you have a Multileader (MLD) you can look at its properties and under the category text choose Justify > Left. You can select multiple Multileaders and edit them at once, or you can use the command MA (match properties) to copy the properties from one multileader to another.

You can also set a Multileader Style (MLS) and choose to insert a block instead of Mtext (first option under the Content tab)
If you have prepared a block with an attribute (attdef & block editor) that has been set to be justified on the left, you will get a multileader style that allways puts the text justified to the left.

That is the effect I am looking for, but how do I skip that step. When editing 100's of notes, to go through and use the align command to get each set of of two or three notes to align would add hours to an already tedious task. I should be able to just copy it straight down and then edit it in place, as shown in the attached files. (which show the edited text moving, which is what I am trying to avoid). Is there a way to avoid the multileader align?

Thank you, for the comment, it will work as a band-aid solution.

I am using LT. I still would like to not have to realign text just because of spelling errors of minor rewording of a note. The extra step seems very unnecessary.
