Im not certain you can pull it off like you are looking to do.

"Any changes you make to the current visual style are saved in the drawing."

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoCAD-Core/files/GUID-F9113233-6798-4F5C-9A9F-7BA41CFA2533-htm.html

If you are working with creating drawings i would set up your template with the visual style you want.

If its a retrofit you will have to apply the styles per drawing. you may be able to whip somehting up with a lisp, but it might be just as easy to import the style from another drawing or add the style to a tool palette as in this article.

I am having an issue with my "Conceptual" style. I am not sure if the problem is happening with any other style because I pretty much run all of them in defaults.

The issue I am having is that the visual style is not saving. Any changes I make only pertain to the current dwg I am working in. I am trying to make my edge lines black instead of white. When I save the dwg, close out and go to a new dwg, the edges are white again. Is there a way to retain setting dwg to dwg?

Any help would be super awesome!

Thanks,

Marc

Well that makes me a little sad, but I suppose it makes sense. I'll just update my template and move on! Thanks for the help!
