Hi, I'm currently studying a BTEC on the construction and built environment. As we will be using CAD I would like to learn it a bit earlier.

I have made this brick (we drew it on paper during graphical detailing). I would like to know how to put it in 3D, I've tried to use the CUI command but in the transfer tab I do not have 3D visualization. Could anyone help ? or is it just the student version that doesn't' let me access 3D ?

From what I see in the screenshot it seems like you have 2D-objects, for different views, but it does not look like it is 3D.

You have to use the 3D construction tools from AutoCAD to create such an object in 3D (there is no function available for "make 3D from 2D-views).

What do you mean by "transfer tab"?

If the question is that you are missing all menus (I can't see in the screenshot if you have one or not) you might try to reset settings to default as described >>>here<<<.

I followed the same steps earlier but it wouldn't work properly, thanks for your help !

Now all I need to learn is how to make them in 3D... Feels like climbing the Everest
