hebrew fonts on AC2014 for win10

hii

I have a win10 OS and downloaded a student version of AC2014

now I cant see Hebrew font on files sent to me/ instead I see the English letters of the matching keys.

I added the SHX file like other posts suggested, and restarted my PC and still no go.

help....

It seems to me like the Textstyle does not have the correct font attached.

You say that you have added the SHX file. Where have you added it?

Is it in your Autodesk Fonts folder? Or did you install it in Windows? (like most fontfiles mostly common for .TTF no so for shx)

Also putting the shx into the drawingfilefolder might help.

Can you perhaps provide us with the Font and (part of) the drawing, so we can test with both?

I copied the SHX files to "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\Fonts"

I haven't installed any thing on windows.(don't want to ruin any thing)

I did as you suggested and copied the SHX files to the DRW file and no help

OK.

After downloading the hebrew fontfiles and putting them into the AutoCAD/Fonts folder I have opened your drawing and got the hebrew texts.

So i dont have a problem with the fonts.

Please make sure you've put the fontfiles into the correct font folder. being the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014\Fonts folder.

You can also find the fontfiles (several) via this >>link<<. (zip file, avaiable for 7 days))

Extract the shx file and put them into the fonts folder.

Restart AutoCAD and open your drawing again.
