topic Dimension Text to Fit within Tex Box Width in AutoCAD Forum

Hi, please see attached drawing.

The yellow dimension performs as I would like the other one to. When I am in text editor, I can stretch the width of the text box and the text will automatically return to the next line and fit within the Box ruler.

The red and gold dimension text will stay in a single line unless you hit enter. What setting is different? Thanks in advance for your help

HI,

As you see from the screencast i can't notice what you describe at your post, isn't it ?

I suggest to take your dimensions (as a try) to another new CAD drawing and paste it there and test it.if the problem gone from the new file try to purge and audit your origin drawing hoping that it will fix it.

Look at this video. The yellow dimension text will automatically adjust as you stretch the text box without having to hit enter. I want this functionality in the red/gold dimension

Hi,

as you can see from the image...things will go fine if you have proper settings that already prepared for your styles.there were a problem in your Text style and text height that prevent the modifications that you was try to do.just change your text style or try to fix it to work fine with your dimension text height then you will succeed to treat this BAD dimension text.. ;))

Good Luck..
