Incompatible or missing plot style (PDF printing with bottom 1/8th of OLE gone)

So I have a weird issue that I can't seem to find anyone else having this exact same issue and I have narrowed it down to a few things but can't get them fixed.

Now, I want to use auto publish since it saves a lot of time in the long run, but this whole issue started with OLE's on drawings not printing correctly. It will show up on the PDF just fine, but when I try and print it doesn't print correctly. I narrowed it down to the dwg to pdf.pc3 plot style. When I individually do it with the Adobe PDF style (or save that as a pc3 style) it works. So I tried to change the plot and publish setting in options to use the adobe PDF.pc3 style for auto publish, but it is still pulling it from the dwg to pdf.pc3 style.

I THINK it has to do with the graphics and custom properties settings in the pc3 file, but the adobe PDF and the dwg to PDF files don't have the same editing options so I can't just manually fix dwg to pdf so that it matches the other. I also can't just save over the dwg to pdf.pc3 file because that causes a whole other can of worms that makes it so the dwg's don't auto publish at all and makes the auto publish try to use the plot style of dwf6 eplot.pc3 file (which makes it say it was unable to find this file even though it is in the same spot as the others).

I have tried searching and anyone who has the same issue as me either says to make sure the files are searching in the right spot (I believe they are) or say to do what I tried.

I am at my wits end with this and don't know what else to try, so if anyone has any suggestions besides the ones I have mentioned that would be great.

I get this error when plotting:

Job: - Plotted with Warning(s)

Job ID: 1
Sheet set name:
Date and time started: 11/30/2016 10:25:04 AM
Date and time completed: 11/30/2016 10:25:05 AM
UserID: XXXXXXXXXX

Profile ID:
Total sheets: 1
Sheets plotted: 1
Number of errors: 0
Number of warnings: 1

Sheet: 2330_02-ASIZE - Plotted with Warning(s)

File: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Category name:
Page setup:
Device name: DWG To PDF.pc3 - plotted to file
Plot file path: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

PDF\XXXXXXXXX.pdf
Paper size: ANSI full bleed A (8.50 x 11.00 Inches)

WARNING: Incompatible or missing plot style

Because of the nature of my Job I don't think I can, but I can tell you it happens whenever the OLE is 80% of the drawing. It is in paper space. It happens with any PDF that has an OLE.

I am jumping into this project kind of in the middle, so the settings for each drawing are all different. they are, however, all doing this with OLE graphs attached to it.

PC3 files are not tied to plot style tables: do you just need to go into PAGESETUP command and simply change the associated plot style table in each tab in your DWG file?

I don't think that is the issue, the plot style is set up to adobe pdf (which when I manually plot works fine), but when I have it auto publish, it is still using the dwg to pdf option.

Hi David,

I have still been reviewing this issue for you and from what I can determine, AutoPublish is always going to use the builtin PDF driver. I have found no settings that can be set to tell it to use anything else. If the settings I suggested for the page setup didn't fix the OLE problem, and having it in modelspace works then I suggest you try the CHSPACE and ALIGNSPACE commands to move the OLE object there easily.

Since I don't have access to the same Adobe PDF driver that you use I am unable to test any further.
