      <description>&lt;P&gt;my question is if I make a base file with multiple xrefs on it when I am in the drawing can you use xlist to see a line from the drawing.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Yes that should function properly. To test this I created drawing 1 with a line in it. Then I xref'd it into drawing 2. Finally I xref'd drawing 2 into my master file and used XLIST to identify the line.&lt;/P&gt;
