Plotter Configuration Cannot be Used...

Hi All,

When one (out of 30) of my users attempts to publish (batch) a collection of drawings OR a Sheet Set, and they select the "PDF" option in the "Publish to" drop-down list, they instantly get the error message in the attached file. If they plot each drawing to a PDF individually, everything is fine.

"The plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reason: the preset cannot be found, the driver cannot be found, or the driver has a problem."

Please notice that this message appears whether we select the page setup or not. It fails as soon as we pick the "PDF" in the "Publish to" box.

This user is on AutoCAD 2017 and most others are pre-update and using 2015 BUT at least half a dozen other are also on 2017 and all are pointing to the same plotter/plot styles/pmp files.

Thanks Dean,

Apparently, there is a difference between the DWG to PDF configs on 2015 and 2017. (duh)

And it seems all the 2017 users were having the same problem but only one told me. I updated the config and all is again good in the world.

We are having the exact same issue you described. How do you change the config you described in your solution?
