Hi,

there were some messages like you around here.

Can you please provide your AutoCAD type (if a vertical), release and installed service pack as well as operating system?

I guess you already run command _AUDIT and you have copied the parts from the "defect" drawing to a new one to see if that happens there again?

If I am working on a drawing with a lot of solids and have it open while working on other drawings,

sometimes some of the solids get scattered in the drawing. Random parts and random movement.

Has anyone else run into this problem?

See photo.

John

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you attach a sample drawing? I would like to see if can be duplicated on my computer. I suspect that the issue is related to your graphics hardware but it might also be a drawing error.

File attached

I had to delete alot of items to try and get the size down.

Finally just copied what I had left to a new file and size went from 3.9mb to

what it is now. Might have something to do with it.

John

The only time I've seen such is from users working in a fully shaded view and osnap'ping point the think are lined up, but inadvertently grabbing the wrong points behind the shading.

Hi @Anonymous,

Your drawing looks quite clean and the objects look like they have been placed in their current locations - meaning this is not just a display/graphics issue.

I have no explanation why they are located where they are currently. Without seeing you draw or the original locations I hesitate to even guess. Although, you might have inadvertently selected them while in another command.

If you can try to reproduce the steps you took in creating this drawing it might help find the cause of the issue.
