AutoCAD Lock and Merge Function

I am a user of your company's product, AutoCAD, and I am currently encountering some difficulties. While using the lock feature, I've found it challenging to successfully merge line segments using the "join" function. Upon zooming in, the merged line segments and locks seem to disconnect instead of staying connected. This has affected my work, as I am unable to efficiently perform the necessary merging of segments.

This issue has significantly impacted my work efficiency and project progress. I have attempted various methods, including restarting the software and repositioning the locks, but it seems these methods are not resolving the problem.

I believe this might be a functionality issue within the software itself.

so if you know the answer of a question from another user, help!

Oups, I am confused now. Are you not talking about "locked layers"? What are locks, do you mean Grips?

What is "the lock feature"?

Are you referring to geometric constraints?
