Hi,

what do you see in the preview is related to any dimension arrowhead (Hor,Ver,Radial,...etc) BUT the option shapes under Leader is what will appear just when you use LEADER command.

For quote some time now (years) I never have gotten this to work. I have CLOSED FILLED selected but it shows up in "preview" and in DWG as Arch Tick (which is what I have for Dim first and second).

Any help?

then your image in your first post is ok and have no issue.

you can select your Radial dimension and from Properties dialog Ctrl+1 you can change it.

Correct. Sorry for confusion. I want the ticks for ALL DIMENSIONS expect when I create radius and diameters. That is what I meant.

Not following your:

"you can select your Radial dimension and from Properties dialog Ctrl+1 you can change it."

Also there a way to make diameter and radius have alignment to be HORIZONTAL and rest of dims to be ALIGNED?

You create a child style of the dimstyle you want to use.

So open dimstyle manager

highlight the dimstyle to modify

pick the New button (I know it doesn't sound right but trust me)

in the dialog that pops up to to the lower selection and pick the down arrow

Pick the diameter dims choice

pick continue

on the Symbols and Arrows tab pick the arrow for leader, note some things are grayed out since you are creating a child style for diameter

pick OK,

pick New and repeat only for Radius dims...

Finally pick close

Try it out with that style set current.
