Good morning,
I have a problem with the use Autocad2014 whit overlay SmartClient 21.2 Archibus for Autocad
Once you installed the SmartClient, AutoCAD always starts when you load the Archibus menu.
How can I do to start Autocad without SmartClient?
The problem stems from the fact that we have many licenses of Autocad, but only a license Overlay for Archibus and even when we only use Autocad, the first to open Autocad takes the only available license Archibus.
Thanks for your help

Hi @riolo,

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

As @pendean suggests, contacting the manufacturer of the add-in is the best route to go. If they can't set htis up for you perhaps you can configure an application icon with a startup switch that either enables or disables the path to the add-in. This would allow you to select whether or not to use it or not.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi riolo,

Were you able to figure this out? And does your SmartClient extension log-in automatically when you start up AutoCAD?

As a side note, I've created an Archibus community sub-reddit in which we can share information and knowledge, as well as help each other out with problems. Feel free to share the space and let others know as well! https://www.reddit.com/r/ARCHIBUS/
