Copy Shortcut Keys

I have a bunch of Shortcut Keys in the Keyboard Shortcuts.

One has to go through a complicated series of steps to define each one.

I want to insert these Shortcut Keys into another AutoCAD Station.

Is there an easier way to just copy and paste these?

Hi,

Your alias editor short keys can be trasfered to a new system by just copying the .pgp file from the system which is located in the support folder.

After installation you can paste this .pgp file to the new location.

If you need to transfer keyboard shortcuts then you can use CUI transfer from the command.

Don't know if this is the quickest way but it works.

If you have a Partial Customization CUI, copy and past the shortcuts to the partial CUI. Load that in the other install, if needed copy and paste up into main CUI.

At the commandline, enter this code exactly as shown:

(findfile "acad.pgp")

AutoCAD will tell you where your PGP file is located on your PC. Go get it.
Repeat at other workstations, except replace theirs with yours.

Done.

If we are talking about the acad.pgp file then be sure to add your customizations to the bottom of the file.

Follow Dean's instructions on copying the file and moving to another computer.

I found the "acad.pgp" file, but, nowhere in it are the Shortcut Keys listed under "Keyboard Shortcuts" shown in the CUI.

I have a search going to see if there is another "acad.pgp" somewhere else.

Forget the acad.pgp, as I suspected in my first post it is in the CUI so you will need to copy the CUI from one computer to the other. Locate the acad.cuix at

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2017\R21.0\enu\Support
