AutoCAD 2016 commands not working normally

it hasbeen nearLY A MONTH.My autocad 2016 commands are not responding all of a sudden after a months hasslefree use.can you please help?i need immediate solution to it....urgent?

Please describe what changed in this month to your system.

Also let us know which service pack is installed for your AutoCAD and which operating system you are using.

Does that mean you create a new drawing, click onto the icon to create a line and AutoCAD stops responding forever? You only get out of that by killing the AutoCAD process using task-manager?

It sounds like you might be the victim of some system/software updates.

Can you please tell me your OS, graphics card and driver, and your exact version of AutoCAD (type ABOUT at the command line)?

Have you applied all the hotfixes and service pack for your AutoCAD from here?

Hi @Anonymous,

I haven't seen an updated post from you so I am suggesting a couple of things you might try but I don't have enough detail to make any more specific suggestions.

First, go to the Windows Control Panel for Programs, select your AutoCAD and then perform a Repair.
Next, Reset Settings to Default
if that still doesn't work, try creating a new user account on your computer with full permissions. Log on with that account and see if AutoCAD performs normally.
