Hi !
I have e problem plotting from DWG to PDF, I have created some layers with differnet lineweight but when i plot the layouts and I select the "plot lineweight" I see that all the lines, even that they are in different layers with different lineweight, when I plot them they look in the same weight 😞 i try to change the layers lineweight ( for example from 0.19 to 0.15 etc) but still the same... I've chaecked dhe lineweight of objects at the properties and they are all "by layers", i dont know whats the prob, why the lineweight doesnt change 😕

Hi,

please show us your drawing so we can see what your settings are, if you have a CTB or STB selected, then upload that too (or use command _ETRANSMIT and upload the resulting ZIP-file so we get all referenced data with your drawing together.

>> i try to change the layers lineweight ( for example from 0.19 to 0.15 etc)

Which resolution have you set in the "DWG to PDF.pc3"? Because I guess you won't see a difference between 0.15 and 0.18 (0.19 is no valid line-weight), not on your display and not on the printer.

When you do test to see if line-weights are working then change e.g. from 0.09 to 1.00 ==> then you can see if the output changed or not, so if your values are working.

Hi,

I opened your drawing, first layout, plotted to PDF and got a result where I can see different lineweights.

Compare that cutout with the PDF you create from your system, open the PDF and zoom to 400% ... don't you see different line-weights?

"some black lines", sorry, this does not help, how should I find "some black lines" that you are referring to?

Please let us know which lines exactly, mark them in a screenshot and upload the screenshot ... or erase all other objects in the drawing, leave only that 2-5 objects in the drawing that you think should show a real difference and you can't see them. Then upload that drawing + a PDF you get from that drawing/first layout (you can also delete all other layouts which we don't need for that test).
