Hi guys and gals , i got this problem - when i try to draw a dashed line it comes out totally distorted , i tried to change the settings in cbt but nothing works...... would really apriciate your help

Hi @Anonymous,

How do these look when you send to a printer? Can you attach one of your PDF's? It might be a setting in the reader program that needs adjusting.

thanks for the response , the picture i attached is a screen shot from the pdf , thats how it comes out....

Hi and welcome to AutoDesk Forum,

usually we draw lines and other CAD elements in model space and put them in their own LAYERS which have certain color and linetypes.so i suggest to make your own layers with LA command.after that you can make pdf files without any problems and without changing ctb file.

well kind of the solution for i did manage to solve it through LA but only when i deleted the old layer and changed color

so i dont know what caused it or what exactly solved it but still your suggestion pointed for the way to get though this so i marked it as solved 🙂
