Hi,

if your asking about the border in Layouts, you can control this elements by making a page setup by PAGESETUP command.and also by OPTIONS command you can try what you need or not.

Good day to everyone!

Short and sweet today.

There is a dashed line, light grey in colour, on the page setup, the print margin?

How can I change this, or at least find out what size rectangle it encompasses?

Cheers,

Hi Mark - can you post a screen shot of a corner of the layout to show me? I believe what you are describing is the margins on the page. You can change the margin to 0 if you like.

Hi Mark, Yes, that is the plot margin. If you go into your page setup and select the properties for your selected printer then you can reduce the margins to 0 if you follow the images in my previous post. If that isn't clear let me know. I also did a post a while ago that shows how to create a custom PC3 file that shows this operation.

Thanks John and Imad.

On a similar note, it appears that if I draw a horizontal line from the end of the numbered divisions, and a vertical line from the end of the lettered division lines, it intersects nicely at 0,0, great for a standard insertion every time. Unfortunately, this is not the insertion point of the border. How do I change that, or s it simpler to just re-block it specifying the new insertion point?

Thanks again!

Hi Mark,

You will notice in your Pagesetup that at the bottom left corner you can adjust the origin point. Sometimes a slight negative or positive value is needed for your border to align exactly.

Yes as you said to re-block it specifying the new insertion.it's more preferable to do that.
