Adding a Suffix to multiple ACAD Layers at once

I'm needing a quick solution to renaming multiple layers at once. I'm wanting to add a suffix "-E" to a set of layers. Scripts and lisp routines are not my strong suit so an alternative solution would be ideal and very much appreciated!

Your app worked for adding the suffix to the end of multiple Layers. But do you perhaps have a solution for renaming the end of multiple Layers such as;

M_ANNO_DUCT_DEMO

I fount this LyrSub routine a while back. Doesn't do any kind of error checking for duplicate layer names but you can give it a try.
