One thing to be careful of is that when some people (and Programs) say XYZ they really mean NEZ (Northing, Easting, Elevation). NEZ would really equal Y,X,Z in an AutoCAD drawing.

Hi,

>> I have extracted the polyline coordinate by exploding them to around 2000 points.

Please show us the drawing + let us know how you exploded a polyline to get points, sounds very interesting!

>> Now i need to create an ldb file or xyz file.

I have no idea what a "LDB" file could be, do you have any informations about that file format?

At least: to extract the X/Y/Z values from AutoCAD point objects to a XYZ-file you can use _DATAEXTRACTION. 😉

Hello there again!

My friend if mine managed to explode and extract the coordinates, so I am fully not aware of the procedure.

But now I have my required coordinates, I need to create an .xyz file or an .ldb file.

.ldb file is a landoundary file used for another software completely unrelated to AutoCAD(Delft3D hydrodynamic modeling software).

I would like to know if you know how to create a .xyz file whoch can be used instead of the .ldb file.

file:///C:/Users/user/Desktop/RGFGRID_User_Manual.pdf

The above is the link where the user manual for creation of .ldb is.

thank you!

Hi,

>> I would like to know if you know how to create a .xyz

Please look to my previous post! This question is already answered.

Just to make sure: a file with extension .txt having X/Y/Z values can be renamed to extension .xyz ... 😉

>> file:///C:/Users/user/Desktop/RGFGRID_User_Manual.pdf

>> The above is the link where the user manual for creation of .ldb is.

Sorry to not have access to your local drive C:
