Hello everyone,

I am trying to add this material to a cylinder surface:

But I end up with a surface that looks like this:

I want the material to face in an orientation so that both cylinders have the text facing the same way.

Can you please help me with this? I've experimented with different offsets and rotations, but I don't get the results I want.

I took a shot at it and came to the conclusion that the settings differ with every size of the Cylinder.

I have managed to get a decent material representation. see the file attached.

Thanks cadacerense! I love how the material turned out!

I tried to see what settings you used to make this material work, but I have this problem:

I attempted to recreate this label with the settings used in the picture your provided, but this is the result I get:

The Scale won't accept 1,1 and 3,0 for me.

Can you please guide me on how you made this label so I can help myself and others for similar future tasks?

Masterenol,

The trick is to use the MATERIALMAP function. There you can choose the object form (in this case Cylindrical)
Select the Cylinder, rotate the image to orient it facing forward and then change the scale of the image.

Hope this wil help.
