FUNCTION KEY NOT WORKING PROPERPLY

In Autocad function key such as f8 f3 etc normally using for shorcuts for some tools but in my LENOVO its not working as per software, In auto cad F8 function key using for turning on and off an option called ortho ( for turning off/on straight line option) but here when i press f8 its showing volume increase icon.

I enable hotkey in bios & and from device manager > pnp>monitor >enable.but still f8 is for increasing volume in autocad window, i want to use my function key as per software short cuts, please help.....

Your Lenovo has an override: have you tried contacting Lenovo support?
Which Lenovo model is this?

I found this article on mapping Function Keys on a Lenovo. Perhaps this applies to your computer. If not, check Lenovo's site for your model-specific information.

Try holding down the fn key and press Esc, that is supposed to toggle the function. A more permanent solution is to go into the Bios and change the setting for the Function keys back to standard mode.
