&lt;P&gt;Enter command &lt;STRONG&gt;STARTUP &amp;lt;1&amp;gt;.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It will turn to open new drawings according to templates created.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you have created any templates it will be displayed in this window and you can choose from that.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;usually Autocad read and get templates (dwt) from this directory&amp;nbsp;&lt;U&gt;C:\Users\Imad\AppData\Local\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20##\R21.0\enu\Template&amp;nbsp;&lt;/U&gt; .go there and paste your existing (dwt).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Depending on what you have in your template file, you might actually want to create a new drawing based upon your template and then insert the existing drawing into it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For instance, if you have blocks in both the template and your drawing that are named the same but contain different geometry of features, the drawing where you insert into is going to determine which version of the block is going to be used.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>To insert a template into an existing drawing, Right click on any tab (Model, Layout, etc.) and select "From Template" then select your desired template.</description>
